JURY SCAM ALERT - DECEMBER 11, 2024
Please be aware of the following jury duty scam that has been reported.
In this recent telephone scam, the caller claims to be a police officer and says that the person has missed their jury duty service and
there is a bench warrant out for their arrest. The caller may ask the person to take action or pay money to resolve the warrant. The
caller’s number may appear like a local number.
This phone call is a scam. If you receive a call like this, hang up. To verify that the phone call is a scam, you may contact
the Carroll County Circuit Court Jury Commissioner’s office at 410-386-2093.
