Courthouse Annex

Carroll County Circuit Court’s audio/video equipment is integrated into the CourtSmart digital recording system in all five courtrooms in the Courthouse Annex. The list of the equipment is as follows:

  • Permanently mounted flat screen tv’s in the courtrooms with monitors at the Judge’s bench, witness stand and jury box
  • HDMI cables located at the attorney tables to connect a laptop to display content on the screens located in the Courtroom
  • Document camera
  • Polycom for video bail reviews and remote hearings
Historic Courthouse

Courtroom 1 (the large ceremonial Courtroom)

  • Large screen tv with monitors at the Judge’s bench, attorney tables and witness stand.
  • An HDMI cable to connect a laptop to display content on the screens located in the Courtroom.
  • Document Camera
  • Polycom for video bail reviews and remote hearings

Courtrooms 3 and 5

  • An HDMI cable to connect a laptop to display content on the tv screen.
  • Polycom for video bail reviews and remote hearings

IF YOU PLAN TO USE ANY COURTROOM TECHNOLOGY (INCLUDING A LAPTOP), YOU MUST CONTACT THE CARROLL COUNTY GOVERNMENT IT HELP DESK AT (410) 386-2046 TWO (2) WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF YOUR HEARING TO ARRANGE FOR ONE OF THE CIRCUIT COURT’S IT TECHNICIANS TO MEET WITH YOU IN ORDDER TO TEST ANY DEVICE YOU INTEND TO USE. ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT FOR DOCUMENT CAMERA TESTING, PLEASE NOTIFY THE HELP DESK IF YOU WILL BE USING THE DOCUMENT CAMERA.
