Mission Statement:
The mission of the Law Library at the Circuit Court for Carroll County is to provide access to law
related information for the Judiciary, as well as the legal community and public. The Library will strive
to provide up-to-date and accurate traditional and advanced technological services to its Library
patrons.
Reference Services:
Legal and ethical guidelines prohibit Library staff from performing legal research or offering legal
advice; therefore, Library staff does not perform legal research, render legal opinions, and/or
comment on court procedures. Library staff is available to answer questions regarding the library and
its collection. Assistance with research is limited to directing patrons to appropriate sources and
explaining how to use them.
